To reflect how activities done in natural environments can stimulate a connection between children and nature, this issue of Parques&Sociedade brings a study that proposes a conceptual model for evaluating the experiences of children in green areas. Among other aspects, this instrument allows one to identify the skills and learning acquired by children in their interactions with these areas. The production of this issue had the support of Instituto Alana’s Child and Nature program.
